About Me

Greetings! After living in Baltimore, MD and rural Western NY, my family has decided to plant our roots in beautiful Fredericksburg. I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice, with a focus in Midwifery from Stony Brook University in Long Island.  I was also the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award for Advanced Practice Nursing. I am honored to use my skills as a Midwife to provide full scope Midwifery care to women of all ages at Rappahannock Women’s Health Center.

I am an active member of American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM), as well as National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV). I am a strong supporter of evidence based care, community outreach, and social justice in medicine. Midwifery is not just a career to me, it is part of who I am as a person, and I look forward to becoming a partner in your health and wellness throughout your pregnancy and lives.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time at home with my husband and four beautiful children. I love to cook and read. Please share with me your favorite books when you come, as I am always on the hunt for a new book to add to my library!
