Dana Taylor, C.N.M.
A native of North Carolina, Dana worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for 15 years, attended Old Dominion University as an undergraduate and graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University with her Master’s in Nursing/Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. While working as Nurse Practitioner, she completed a Post-Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery at Shenandoah University. Dana is Board Certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife and has additional training in Advanced Fetal Monitoring and Colposcopy.
She enjoys all areas of caring for women whether it is providing care to a young woman for her first well woman exam, helping a woman transition into menopause,
or caring for and educating a woman and her family during pregnancy and childbirth. She finds it an inspiring and awesome privilege to be with a woman during the birth
of her child.
Dana’s hobbies include spoiling her 10 nieces and nephews, playing with her 3 Boston Terriers, and beating her husband at their nightly Scrabble game.
